  1. The basics. Cyber attacks do not discriminate, typically focusing on the weakest link. Implement cyber security patches that will protect your employees at the most basic level. Not only will this protect sensitive data, but it will allow your chief security officer and his team to focus on larger cyber difficulties.
  2. Understand who you are. Take an inventory of who is accessing your network, what types of devices they are using and the “traffic flow” of data.
